Requirements for admission to the full-time HKU MBA programme in partnership with London Business School and Columbia Business School/HKU MBA with China business concentration:
1. Recognised bachelor’s degree
2. Satisfactory GMAT score
3. Minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based)/80 (Internet-based) or IELTS band 6.5, with no subtest score lower than 5.5
4. At least two years of postgraduate full-time work experience (as of July 2017)

香港大学经济学专业隶属于经济与金融学院，是港大历史悠久、实力雄厚的专业之一。港大的经济与金融学院课程设置重视兼顾理论性和实用性，按照他们自己的说法：The School of Economics and Finance provides strong grounding in both theoretical and applied aspects of economics, allowing students to analyze how business and policy decisions are made in a dynamic world。目前经济与金融学院的院长是著名的教授Keith K.P. Wong。
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Economics Programme, a candidate must:
hold a Bachelor's degree of this University; or a qualification of equivalent standard from this University or another comparable institution accepted for this purpose;
obtain statements from two referees, regarding the suitability for the Programme; and
obtain a TOEFL/IELTS score* if he/she is not from an English teaching university.
* A score of 577 or above (paper-based test), 233 (computer-based test), or 90 (internet-based test) in TOEFL, or a minimum overall band of 7 with no subtest lower than 6.5 in IELTS is required.
GMAT/GRE scores are not required, but a good GMAT/GRE score will be favorably considered and can be helpful for marginal cases.
Applicants may be invited for an interview.
