Elegy Written in a Country Church-Yard（《墓畔哀歌》） It was written in quatrains, tells how the poet takes a walk at dusk in a church graveyard and looks at the tombs of the common people buried there. He shows great sympathy to them for not being able to fulfill their life ambitions and also pays respect to them for spending their lives in obscurity in their honest and humble ways.
