熊 燕,女,民革党员,医学博士,药理学教授,博士研究生导师。1996年10月至1998年9月,在香港大学生理、内科学系科研进修;2004年9月至2007年4月,赴美国北卡Hamner健康科学研究所从事博士后研究。自1982年大学毕业后一直从事药理学教学工作;自1992年硕士研究生毕业后一直留在中南大学湘雅药学院药理学系从事“一氧化氮合酶抑制物二甲基精氨酸(ADMA)在动脉粥样硬化和糖尿病血管并发症中的作用及其机制与药物、基因干预”研究和药理学教学工作,具有稳定的科研方向。在该领域四次获国家自然科学基金资助,一次获卫生部优秀青年科技人才基金资助;先后获湖南省科技进步二等奖(第二完成人,获奖项目编号:960134)、卫生部科技进步二等奖(第二完成人,获奖证书编号:**)、湖南省医药科技成果一等奖(第一完成人,获奖证书编号:**)、湖南省自然科学奖二等奖(第一完成人,获奖证书编号:**-018-R01)。已参加国际学术会议和全国药理学术大会各10余次,发表学术论文50余篇,其中50%以上发表在SCI收录期刊。1995年晋升为药理学副教授,1996年遴选为硕士研究生导师;2000年晋升为药理学教授,同年攻读中南大学药理学在职博士研究生,师从我国著名的临床药理学家周宏灏院士;2002年入选为湖南省高等学校学科带头人培养对象,2003年获博士学位,2004年遴选为博士研究生导师,2005年开始招收博士研究生,并入选湖南省新世纪121人才工程人选;已招收硕、博士研究生21人,毕业15人,其中三人获湖南省优秀硕士学位论文。作为副主编和编委参与了七本专著和教材的编写;并担任湖南省病理生理学会常务理事、湖南省病理生理学会心血管专业委员会副主任委员、中国心血管药理学专业委员会委员,以及湖南省综合评标专家,湖南省药品评审专家、国家自然科学基金项目评审专家、国家科技部国际合作计划项目评审专家等学术兼职。2010年作为人才引进来广州医学院基础学院工作,任广州医学院药理学教授、博士和硕士研究生导师、血管药理研究方向学科带头人、蛇毒研究所所长。目前主要研究内源性一氧化氮合酶抑制物ADMA在糖尿病心肌、骨骼肌和肝脏线粒体功能障碍与内质网应激中的作用及其机制以及蛇毒对心肌、骨骼肌和肝脏糖、脂代谢的影响。
